Eugene M. Smith, Jr.
Eugene M. Smith Jr., also known as The Jazz Man, was born and raised in Charleston, SC. He started playing the saxophone when he was 8 years old and has over 6 decades of experience sharing his gift with the world. His appreciation and skill for music led him to be invited to play in his high school band and orchestra. He continued playing while in college, performing in venues throughout North and South Carolina and opening for several Motown acts, eventually opening a Jazz club in Charleston, before setting his instrument aside to focus on family. He now plays in his local church as well as for corporate events, fund raisers, weddings, political events, and much more. Eugene is dedicated to excellence.
